Curious about Akame Ga Kill Season 2?

The anime title translates to Akame Slashes as one anime title to attract a tonne of attention in the 2010s.

Akame Ga Kill series was loved and hated by all those who consumed the story had to offer, even if it was full of blood and gore.

However, ever since the conclusion of the series back in 2015, we have not heard of a possible Season 2 has been revealed by the creators.

So, are we getting Akame Ga Kill Season 2 this 2022?

Akame Ga Kill Season 2: Is The Anime Series Renewed?

The story revolves around Tatsumi, a fighter accompanied by his two childhood friends, Iyeyasu and Sayo.

As the story goes on, the main characters set off into the Capital to search for a way to make money to assist his poverty-stricken village. After being separated from his friends in a bandit attack, Tatsumi unsuccessfully attempts to enlist in the army, but rather he was swindled out of his money.

The story then revolves around how Tatsumi overcomes the problems and challenges with his childhood friends. Later on, he is taken in by a noble family, but an assassin group attacks and learns that the noble hosts intended to torture and kill him as they had done to his friends.

Akame Ga Kill Season 2: Release Date

For Akame Ga Kill Season 2, we have to wait for the official update of the creators.

Although rumors have been spreading about a second installment, Studio White Fox has not provided any updates about it. The official website of the series is also silent about any possibility of season 2.

Season 1 aired its first episode in July of 2014, which means it’s been more than eight years without a word about its second season.

Are we still getting another installment? Hopefully!

Since we do not know if Akame Ga Kill Season 2 will happen soon, we also do not have an official list of Akame Ga Kill Season 2 cast. 

Although, we may be sure that if it ever happens, the manga characters will still be seen in the anime adaptation. However, it might be impossible to have the original voice actors dub their respective roles again.

And, given that all of the main characters are doomed in the end, we’re not sure who will return for the following season.

Akame Ga Kill Season 2: Official Trailer

Since we are not sure if Akame Ga Kill Season 2 will happen, there is no official trailer available yet.

Although, if the showrunners announce it in early 2022, we might get a trailer by late 2022.

Still, the creators have to make an official update regarding the creation of Season 2. We have to wait and stay posted for new information and updates until then.
