Is Alice in Borderland Season 2 finally coming on Netflix?
Alice in Borderland is a Netflix Original live-action adaptation of the manga of the same name written by Hara Aso and Yasuko Kuramitsu, directed by Shinsuke Sato.

What is Alice in Borderland about? – Storyline
Alice in Borderland is a 2020 Japanese science fiction thriller drama streaming television series.
It follows the story of allies trapped in an abandoned Tokyo where they are forced to compete in dangerous games and the type and difficulty of which are determined by playing cards.
After surviving their first game, players receive “visas” extended the more they compete. However, if their visas expire, the individuals are executed to be shot by red lasers from the sky.
The show was also compared to Squid Game as they resemble one another in that follow contests that are fighting and playing with their lives at stake. In Alice in Borderland, it exists partially in the realm of the supernatural, an alternate reality version of Tokyo devoid of anyone.

Alice In Borderland Season 2: Netflix Official Release Date
Ever since the first season’s release in late 2020, fans have been waiting for this Japanese thriller series to come back for another season on the streaming platform.
Netflix Japan has announced through a live stream event called Netflix Festival Japan that the show is expected to premiere sometime in December of 2022. Although there’s still a bit of a wait, it’ll make it up for a great binge-watch over the holiday season!
Fans have also been expecting that by the time Alice in Borderland Season 2 air, we might see more lengthy episodes and air time than the first season.
Alice In Borderland Season 2: Expected Cast
Netflix has yet to release the official cast of Alice in Borderland Season 2. Although, we are expecting to see all original casts in the back for the second installment.

Aside from them, we might also get to see new faces for the second installment.
Alice In Borderland Season 2: Expected Plot
If you have seen the series’s first season, Ryohei Arisu enters into an alternate reality. Several other contestants with him must win video game-inspired challenges, or they will die.
Both Arisu and his closest in-game friend Yuzuha Usagi survived the events of Season 1. Arisu, then, will likely be moving into the next stage of the contest trusting a few of his fellow competitors aside from Usagi.
As the series is based on an anime manga, it is more likely that Alice in Borderland Season 2 will be based on the remaining chapters of the manga, which consists of 33 more chapters.
Should Netflix continue to pull directly from the series’ source from the manga, then, Season 2 could very well include the manga’s ending. Or, the producers might also prefer to extend its hit series, and new surprises could be in store for Usagi, Arisa, and each remaining player fighting for their survival.
