Riot Games and Fortiche have come together to create a brand new animated series titled Arcane featuring the one and only Jinx and Vi from “League of Legends”.

What is Arcane about?

The animated series will focus on the backstory of the two characters and will be set in the League of Legends universe. League of Legends fans will be able to witness their favorite champions in a whole new light as the series will go back in time to show how Jinx and Vi became the champions that they are in their game.

Arcane Season 2

Arcanists are the latest addition to the world of Runeterra, and they are the subject of the new animated action-adventure series, “Arcane.” Arcane takes place in the same universe as the popular video game League of Legends. Riot Games is the company that created League of Legends, and they are the company that developed the characters and the world that the series takes place in. The series is being produced by the German company Fortiche, and directed by Christian Linke and Alex Yee. The show was supposed to be released on June 4th, but it is now delayed.

Why Arcane is a must watch for you?

Netflix has been on a roll in recent years, creating some of the most talked-about TV shows and movies. But Netflix’s newest animated series, “Arcane,” isn’t an original Netflix or Riot Games production. The new series is actually a collaboration between the streaming service, the video game publisher, and a London-based animation studio. The new animated series is a follow-up to the “League of Legends” digital comic book, “The Rise of the Thorns.” Riot Games’ VP of story, Daniel Erickson, told Business Insider that the comic was “extremely well-received.” He said the studio was inspired to expand the universe in animation form. The story is set in the world of “League of Legends,” and focuses on Vi and Jinx. Vi is an ex-criminal and Jinx is a getaway driver who has decided to take a more direct approach to life. The two end up meeting and teaming up to take on the evil sorceress Lissandra.

The new animated series from Netflix and Riot Games is a bit of a departure from the usual League of Legends canon. Sure, there will be lore drops everywhere and some familiar faces, but the real reason to watch is to see how the story is told. While the animation might be a little rough around the edges (especially compared to the game), the voice acting is absolutely fantastic and really brings the characters to life.

Why you will love both the main characters?

The main characters of the animated series, Vi and Jinx, are two sisters who are very different from each other. Vi is a tough, no-nonsense police officer who knows how to fight, while Jinx is a cheerful, upbeat and optimistic person who likes to play around. These two girls will make you laugh, but also make you cry. They’re the perfect example of opposites attract and make the perfect pair.

What Is Arcane Season 2 Release Date?

Netflix has announced that production for a Arcane season 2 is well underway. When asked about the length of time it would take to have another season produced, Riot Games CEO Nicolo Laurent replied on Twitter “We’re working hard to shorten the wait between seasons!”

However, as Laurent says, it won’t be arriving until 2023 at the earliest.

Co-creators Christian Linke and Alex Yee commented: “We’re beyond happy about the positive response to Arcane’s first season and are working hard with the creative wizards at Riot and Fortiche to deliver our second instalment.”

Season one had a distinct delivery format – with episodes released in rapid succession – which made all the difference when it came to reeling in audiences. This viewing pattern will carry over into Arcane season 2 as well, whenever it’s set to air.

The teaser features no new scenes, just some dialogue, but the important bit is at the very end – Arcane fans are convinced they can hear the mechanical heartbeat of League of Legends’ champion Warwick, a part-werewolf, part-machine who doesn’t remember his life before he was experimented on in scientist Singed’s laboratory.

There’s no news yet as to who would voice Warwick should he be added to season two, but watch this space for updates.
