Fans have been anticipating Bad Batch Season 2, and luckily, the series was renewed for a second season. Unfortunately, it will be moved further to a later date, rather than on May 2022. Although we can confirm it will be out this 2022, we do not have an exact date for its official release.

We have yet to wait for the announcement of the creators and Disney+ regarding the official release date of Bad Batch Season 2.

Star Wars The Bad Batch Season 2 Expected Cast

Since we do not have the exact details yet regarding the date of release of Bad Batch Season 2, we also do not have an official cast list for the Bad Batch Season 2.

Although the characters are most like to be the same, the actors presumed to be back to play their respective roles are:

  • Dee Bradley Baker as The Batch and the Regs
  • Michelle Ang as Omega
  • Rhea Perlman as Cid
  • Noshir Dalal as Vice Admiral Rampart
  • Gwendoline Yeo as Nala Se
  • Stephen Stanton as Admiral Tarkin
  • Ben Diskin as AZI-3

We are expecting new plots and twists, so we are also hoping for new faces and characters to show up for Bad Batch Season 3.

Star Wars The Bad Batch Season 2 Expected Plot

In the first season of Bad Batch, which consisted of 16 episodes, the story took a while to find its reason to exist and had also successfully carved out the Star Wars canon.

The story of Bad Batch focuses on the Clone Force 99, also known as the Bad Batch. They are a group of elite clone troopers with genetic mutations that were first introduced in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and they take on daring mercenary missions in the aftermath of the Clone Wars.

The Bad Batch season 2 seems to expand the mythology story and adventure further, like Hunter, Tech, Wrecker, Echo, Crosshair, and their young sidekick Omega trying to find their place in a universe where the newly formed Empire is starting to throw its weight around.

At the end of the first season, we can assume that Bad Batch Season 2 will be a split story again.

Star Wars Bad Batch Release Date 2022

Spoiler Alert!

The air was cleared between Crosshair and the rest of the Batch/ We saw how they parted ways as they fundamentally believed and wanted different things.

Moreover, the Batch is off to be mercenaries again while their sniper is waiting on the Empire to circle back and they’re not on opposite sides of a brewing war. There is a big possibility that they’re bound to be in that place when Bad Batch Season 2 gets released.

And at some point, the Batch will have to choose to either fight with the rebels or stay out of the conflict altogether. The tension between Crosshair and the rest of his siblings will likely come up again in the second season.
