Better Call Saul Season 5 premiered in February 2020 and followed Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk) after his brother Chuck died. The tragedy had a profound effect on him, and it was one of the driving forces behind his change into “criminal” lawyer Saul Goodman. The season was well-received by critics and set a high bar for the show’s next season.

Unfortunately, there were only a few watch alternatives available. Those who haven’t seen it yet will be able to do so in April when it is released on Netflix.

Better Call Saul Season 5 Plot

The fifth season plot picks up where the fourth season left off, four years before Jimmy McGill (Odenkirk) meets Walter White (Bryan Cranston) and Jesse Pinkman (Bryan Cranston) in 2004. (Aaron Paul).

After obtaining his legal license, Jimmy develops into the eponymous character, criminal defense lawyer “Saul Goodman,” despite rejecting Howard Hamlin’s (Fabian) kindness in the aftermath of his brother Chuck’s death.

Jimmy’s clandestine and intermittent character, as well as Kim Wexler’s (Seehorn) readiness to go along with Jimmy’s morally murky intentions in order to go forward in her casework, astounds her. Gus Fring’s (Esposito) legitimate restaurant business and reputation with the Juárez Cartel are disrupted by Lalo Salamanca’s (Dalton) appearance in Albuquerque.

Both Nacho Varga (Mando), concerned for his father’s safety, and Mike Ehrmantraut (Banks), still reeling from his murder of Werner Ziegler, are caught in the crossfire between Gus and Lalo, eventually bringing Jimmy and Kim into the fray.

Season 5 of Better Call Saul will debut on Netflix on April 4, 2022.

At 3:00 a.m. ET/12:00 a.m. PT, Netflix publishes new episodes.

Better Call Saul Season 5

Because the show premieres in the United States first, it takes some time for the license to become accessible on Netflix in these countries, and they don’t get the same weekly treatment as the rest of the world.

Season 4 of Better Call Saul was added to Netflix on February 9, 2020, only weeks before Season 5 was scheduled to premiere. Season 3 was, however, added to Netflix in March 2018, well ahead of its August premiere.

Seasons have always been added just before the next is scheduled to run in the past, and season 5 will be no different.
