All About Big Little Lies
David E. Kelley created the series, and it is based on the novel of the same name by Liane Moriarty.
The series Big Little Lies is produced by HBO and tells the story of a murder case amongst the wealthy community of Monterey, California, focusing on the perspective of the mothers in the community. The second season followed the aftermath of the first season and revealed who made the killing.
Big Little Lies first premiered in February 2017, earning itself a Golden Globes and Emmys the following award season.
It had received positive attention from the fans, which made it renew for Season 2 even if the series was only meant to be a mini-series.
Since the second season also received well-acclaimed reviews from the viewers and the critics, they have wondered if there will be Big Little Lies Season 3 soon.

Big Little Lies Season 3: Release Date
Sadly, there has been no confirmation from HBO yet regarding the third season of the series.
However, there have been rumors because some of the Big Little Lies cast members are hinting at the return of the series back on screen.
Nicole Kidman, one of the series’s main characters, discussed a potential series three during an interview, and she seems as though she’d be up for it.
Nicole was asked, “If you could revisit something that you’ve done, make a sequel of something, or revisit a character that you’ve already played, is there one that you think … there’s more story to be told?”
Nicole was quick to answer, “I think we’d all love to do a Big Little Lies season 3, you know?” Her remarks sparked anticipation in fans waiting for the third season of Big Little Lies.
Yet, she also confirmed that she does not know if there will be a third season for the series. We have to wait for the official announcement coming from the show’s producers.
Big Little Lies Season 3: Cast
Although we do not have confirmation yet on the renewal of the series, we might have some guesses of who might be part of the third season of the series.
Aside from Nicole Kidman confirming her love to return for her role in Big Little Lies Season 4, she also hinted that the other cast members are willing to be back.
She told another interview, “Reese Witherspoon and I talk or text once a week. She’s just moved back to Nashville, and we’re close. We all want to work together again. I texted Zoë Kravitz and Laura Dern, and they’re in. Writers David E. Kelley and Liane Moriarty have an excellent idea for it. Watch this space!”
Are we sensing season 3 from her answers?
Some cast members who were part of Season 1 and 2 include Shailene Woodley, Meryl Streep, and Alexander Skarsgård.
