When will Charlotte Season 2 air?
Charlotte is a supernatural comedy-drama anime that Jun Maeda created. The first season was released in the summer of 2015. And ever since then, the series received acclamation from both fans and critics, which is why a lot has been anticipating another season. Yes, even if it was seven years ago!

What is Charlotte About? – Storyline
Charlotte is a 2015 Japanese anime television series produced by P.A.Works and Aniplex and directed by Yoshiyuki Asai.
The first season of Charlotte aired three episodes in Japan between July 5 and September 27, 2015. The manga series was serialized in ASCII Media Works’s Dengeki G’s Comic.
The story revolves around an alternate reality where a small percentage of children manifest superhuman abilities when they reach the age of puberty. Yuu Otosaka, a high school boy who temporarily awakens the ability to possess others, brings him to Nao Tomori, the student council president of a school founded as a haven for children with such skills.

Charlotte Season 2: Release Date
The anime’s first season ended on a cliffhanger, leaving fans impatient and anxious for the second installment. Charlotte season 1 premiered on July 5, 2015, with the finale airing on September 27, 2015.
Are we expecting another season?
Unfortunately, we have not heard from the creators yet if they will be producing another season for the series. Although, rumors have been circulating that the series will be renewed and might be out this summer of 2022. Let’s keep our fingers crossed.
Charlotte Season 2: Plot
Since we have not heard from the creators regarding Season 2 yet, we do not have the official plot of Charlotte Season 2.
In the first season, it was known to the viewers how the story goes. The story’s plot starts with how a short-period comment named Charlotte passed by the Earth every 75 years in an alternate reality.
When the comet passes by the Earth, it sprays some dust, resulting in having pre- adolescents manifest superhuman abilities. This is why Yuu Otosaka awakens to a power that allows him to control people’s minds and bodies for five seconds.
However, Yuu does not use his powers responsibly. Instead, he shows his true nature by fulfilling his desires having girls show their innerwear, forcing someone to punch people he does not like, and even cheating on tests by checking the intelligent kids’ answer sheet.
As he entered an elite school, he hoped to use his power to have a smooth sailing high school life. Now the mission of the student council in the school is to find a student who is using their powers indiscriminately to stop them and protect them.
The series continues how the protagonist and those others in the school protect lives and ensure that the people with abilities are safe as there are dangers in using their powers in public.
The second season is expected to continue of the cliffhangers season one left and answer the fans’ questions.
