We will be seeing a new Chris Evans movie, and we just can’t wait! Evans is in talks to play the role of a legendary actor, Gene Kelly, in a developing film produced by John Logan.
It is said that the film is based on Evans’ original idea of a 12-year-old boy who works on the MGM lot in the 1950s, finding an imaginary friend in the name of Kelly while working on his newest film.
The film will be produced by Evans alongside Logan, who is also doing the script for the cast. Rian Johnson and Ram Bergman will produce through their company T-Street Productions, as will Mark Kassen.
Evans, Johnson, and Bergman last worked together on the 2019 box office darling “Knives Out,” whose sequel is in post-production. Three-time Oscar nominee Logan’s oeuvre includes penning Ridley Scott’s “Gladiator,” Martin Scorsese’s “The Aviator,” Tim Burton’s “Sweeney Todd” and James Bond movie “Skyfall.”
