Clarkson’s Farm is a British documentary television series about Jeremy Clarkson and his farm. Given the success of the farm’s launch, Clarkson is now working on a second season that will showcase more farm animals, more challenges, and more races. This blog will look at the first season of Clarkson’s Farm and how it was able to become a hit for Amazon Prime Video.
Clarkson’s Farm Season 2 Release date:
Unfortunately we’re still waiting on the air date, but it’s likely to be in 2022. However, as filming is underway, we can start looking to the future with a healthy amount of optimism for Clarkson’s Farm season 2.
We’re still working to lock down a handful of important details surrounding première season two and as a result, hard dates are still pending. Both farming and filming will become even more difficult this coming year for our intrepid team as meteorologists say there is an increasing chance of climate change-associated extreme weather events in the United Kingdom over the next few months which could have an adverse effect on agricultural health, growth and yield.
Of the more than 4,500 viewers who reviewed the show on Amazon, 98% gave season one five stars. This was no surprise as soon after season one premiered and people were already eager for a second season! However there was at one point an indication that the show had been cancelled. But then it won a few awards and it became quite clear that not only had they gained new fans, but the original crewmembers of Top Gear had converted them fully to their lifestyle.
Clarkson’s Farm season 2 Cast Returning
Jeremy Clarkson will obviously be back centre stage at the series. As it is his farm and all, Clarkson’s Farm deserves him.
However, undoubtedly the most talked about star from this show was farmhand and right-hand man, Kaleb Cooper. His passion for picking out a perm accompanied by his incredible confidence in yelling at the Clarkson family won over the nation.
Kaleb who hails from Diddly Squat, a country world known for its friendly people and bountiful resources, is no fan of city life. He loves living on his own and has no problem keeping to himself. This makes for great back-and-forth banter when having to deal with someone else who also lives alone in a city like Jeremy for example. Kaleb’s “no nonsense” personality balances out Jeremy’s clueless persona making them the perfect pair during their adventures.
“I’m the boss really,” the young farmer said previously on This Morning. “Don’t get me wrong – he is my boss, he’s a boss and a friend. He doesn’t listen to me but the good thing is he has an interest in farming which makes it a lot easier. That’s why I shout at him and I get genuinely angry when he makes a mistake.”
The pair will be joined by Jeremy’s long-time girlfriend, Lisa Hogan, who is often seen in charge of the Diddly Squat Farm Shop.
Construction and maintenance worker Gerald Cooper (no relation to Kaleb) will also be a likely star to return.
Land agent “Cheerful” Charlie Ireland will also be around to keep Jeremy and the team in line.
