What Is Dark Harvest About?
Dark Harvest is a horror movie about a group of friends who are willing to take their shot at the ultimate Halloween prize: Sawtooth Jack. Every Halloween, the town of Shepherdstown hosts the Dark Harvest festival, where the best and bravest hunters compete to kill the most monsters. This year, Richie Shepard is determined to win, but he’s up against some stiff competition, including Kelly Haines and Pete McCormick.
When Richie’s best friend is killed by one of the monsters, he’s even more determined to win. With the help of his friends, he sets out to track down and kill the monster. But as they get closer to their prey, they realize that they may not be prepared for what they’re about to face

The Dark Harvest release date is September 9, 2022. We shoot the movie on Halloween and start post-production after that. We promote and release the finished film and television in quarantine.

The plot of Dark Harvest centers around a small midwestern town that is terrorized by an event called the run. Every year, gangs of teenage boys armed with butcher knives rise from the cornfields and hunt down anyone they can find.
