The synopsis of the movie
Olivia has also confirmed the Dont Worry Darling film’s release date – and it’s only a few months away!
Florence will play Alice, a “unhappy housewife” who begins to doubt her sanity after noticing strange occurrences in her neighborhood.
“While the husbands work every day inside the Victory Project Headquarters on the ‘development of progressive materials,’ their wives—including Frank’s elegant partner, Shelley (Chan)—get to spend their time enjoying the beauty, luxury, and debauchery of their community,” it continues.
Life is ideal, with the company taking care of all of the residents’ needs. All they ask in return is discretion and unwavering dedication to the cause of victory. When cracks appear in their idyllic life, revealing glimpses of something far more sinister lurking beneath the attractive façade, Alice is left wondering what they’re doing in Victory and why.
“How much is Alice willing to risk to find out what’s really going on in this paradise?”
It sounds fascinating. The script was written by Booksmart writer Katie Silberman, and Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke will executive produce. The Dont Worry Darling film will be directed and starred in by Olivia Wilde.

Dont Worry Darling was put on hold on November 4th, according to Deadline, after a member of the cast tested positive for coronavirus.
The studio, New Line, confirmed the news, stating that the diagnosis had become an occupational hazard, and that filming had been halted immediately. The entire crew was immediately isolated.
According to Deadline, the person who contracted the virus “is not a member of the principal cast, but someone who was in close enough proximity to them that the shutdown was deemed necessary to determine if anyone else in the production has been exposed.”
No one else on the set has tested positive so far. Production will be halted for 14 weeks, the length of quarantine recommended by safety guidelines. When the temporary shutdown was implemented, the film was already a few weeks into production.
