In the teaser trailer, John Cena and Jason Statham shocked the fans by pulling out of their drifting cars. The two will be returning to the world of running cars and full-on drama and action.

Fast X is directed by Louis Leterrier, who has also produced another successful action film, Transporter.
Louis was appointed the role of director after Justin Lin left the post. The reason that he gave was for creative differences.
Although Justin Lin and Dan Mazeau write the whole film and not just this, Lin is still attached to the project as a producer.
