Shauna Rae is a 22-year-old female who is experiencing a rare disease. She experiences development loss during treatment of rare brain disease. As you may see in the photos, she stands at 3 feet and 10 inches tall, even though she is already 22 years old.
The show focuses on how Shauna Rae struggles in her everyday life because of this disease. According to the front, Rae is challenged in making life decisions like putting on makeup and wearing adult clothing. The show also tackles how Shauna Rae has a hard time dating.
In the show, there was an episode where she tried to get a tattoo for herself, and it shows how she struggles to convince people that she is already 22 years old. If you look at the episode, you can see that she shows the tattoo she got before and explains to the tattoo artist that she is already of legal age.
Nonetheless, Shauna Rae’s parents are very proud and supportive of her. Although, in the show, we found out how Shauna yearns for more independence from her parent.
Rae, who is still staying with her parents, feels like she is still treated like a kid. When her mom was asked about this, she said,” I don’t know if I’m ready to let her go. But she needs to be let go.”

Unfortunately, we have not heard from TLC yet. If I am Shauna, Rae will be getting another season.
According to reports, TLC is quite a different network from others. They don’t usually confirm if they will renew a show or not. Likewise, they also do not announce if the show will be canceled. This is why it is difficult, even for the fans, to know their decision.
When Shauna Rae was interviewed after her life was shown and featured in the show, she admitted that her life had not pretty much changed. She still focuses on how to get out of her parent’s house and live a life of her own.
Considering the challenges she has to face every day, there aren’t many big things happening to her life, and fans are not surprised by this news.
