Get ready, besties, because we’re headed to Skybucks to celebrate iCarly Season 2!

Season 2 of the show was swiftly ordered by Paramount+ when it became a great hit on the streaming service. Here’s all we know about the upcoming return of iCarly.

What is the series iCarly All About?

iCarly is based on the original series of the same name. The series aired from 2007 to 2012. Nickelodeon Studios produce it. Cosgrove is executive producing the reboot alongside showrunners Ali Schouten and Jonathan Fener.

Producers include Jerry Trainor, Nathan Kress, and Alissa Vradenburg.

When it ran on Nickelodeon from 2007 to 2012, iCarly was one of the most popular shows. The return of iCarly on Paramount+ has also been a huge success; not only does it have a perfect Rotten Tomatoes score, but it’s also one of the “top acquisition drivers” on ViacomCBS/streaming Paramount’s service.

The revival of iCarly’s success is largely to how effectively it replicated the original show’s zany charms and weird gags. With their characteristic joyful aplomb, Carly, Freddie, Harper, and Spencer now tackle grownup issues like dating, divorce, and the problems of being a social media influencer.

The successful approach for iCarly not only worked, but it also reignited the show’s appeal, ensuring a season 2 pickup from Paramount+.

The plot of iCarly Season 2

Following some love issues last season, Carly refocuses her attention on her friends and family in this 10-episode season.

Season one concluded on a dramatic cliffhanger, with Carly’s ex-boyfriend and current boyfriend fighting for her attention and Carly being undecided.

Carly is still developing new content for her relaunched web channel, in addition to her relationship status.

This season, Carly and Freddie will face their unresolved romantic feelings.

Plus, there’s more. This season, the Groovy Smoothie is back.

Furthermore, Carly faced an old stalker from the original series in iCarly season 1. Freddie’s ex-wife Gwen (Carmela Zubado) reappeared, and Carly took on topics like data-mining and multi-level marketing scams as a social media influencer with millions of followers.

On Wednesday, March 2, Paramount+ released the season two trailer for iCarly, and OMG Carly and Freddie kiss.
