What is Jane the Virgin All About?
If you are a fan of Jane the Virgin, you probably know the story and premise of the show.
It follows the story of surprising and dramatic events in the life of Jane Gloriana Villanueva, or Jane for short, a hard-working, religious, young, Venezuelan-American woman set in Miami.

As the series moves forwards, it starts how Jane vows to save her virginity until marriage is threatened when a doctor mistakenly artificially inseminates her during a checkup. To her surprise, the biological father is a married man, a former playboy, and a cancer survivor who is not only the new owner of the hotel where Jane works but was also her former teenage crush.
Jane adjusts to pregnancy and then her motherhood. She is also faced with many questions regarding her career moving forward. She wonders what will happen to her professional career future and the daunting prospect of choosing between the father of her baby or her detective boyfriend.
As the series evolves from the first season till the fifth one, the issues shift as her child grows into a toddler, her writing career moves forward. Her family members likewise develop independent plotlines.

Jane The Virgin Season 6 Release Date
A lot has been expected for the sixth season of Jane the Virgin. However, it was already announced that the fifth season would be the last.
After five seasons of Jane the Virgin, it was believed that the CW was unsatisfied with the show’s rating. Because of this, it seems evident that Season 5 will be the last season of the series on television.
Although it is sad to see Jane the Virgin go after five seasons, you can always rewatch the past five seasons on Netflix. Who knows, another network might adopt it and have a possibility of creating the sixth season of Jane the Virgin.
