Kengan Ashura Season 2: The anime series Kengan Ashura Season 2 is now in development, according to Shogakukan, which announced it on March 24. According to reports, the second season will adapt to the Kengan Annihilation Tournament finals and the finale of the original plot. The sequel will be available exclusively on Netflix around the world.
Given that the match for Episode 13 was previewed during the after-credits, Netflix’s Kengan Ashura Season 2, or Kengan Ashura Part 2, was unavoidable.
The Kengan Annihilation Tournament will continue during the fall 2019 anime season, according to Netflix. Kengan Ashura Part 2 will include Kengan Ashura Episodes 13 through 24.
Furthermore, based on the anime’s pacing in comparison to the manga series, the adaptation will conclude with Kengan Ashura Season 3. (or Kengan Ashura Part 3).
What is Kengan Ashura All About?
The anime is directed by Seiji Kishi and produced by animation studio Larx Entertainment (a subsidiary of Studio Hibari). Angel Beats! is undoubtedly the director’s most well-known work. The manga follows Ohma Tokita, better known by his nickname Ashura, as he joins the Kengan fights. Some manga plot components are reordered for dramatic effect, as they are in many anime adaptations.
Unfortunately, to shorten the story within a 12-episode structure, other plot moments are omitted entirely, frequently at the expense of character development and backstory.
The manga’s first half established the characters and the kengan universe, and the anime adapted the first seven chapters into two episodes in a relatively straightforward manner.
Around Chapters 8 through 11, the anime began skipping manga content, which featured a cheating fighter known as “Medicine Man” Kaburagi Koji, who was known for incapacitating his opponents with a secret weapon even while he was losing.
Kaburagi used a blinding poison, and a high-frequency noise generator dubbed The Mosquito that only affects the young in this tale arc was intriguing.
Even when Kaburagi flings his broken teeth like bullets, Ohma defeats the cheater despite being blinded and deafened!
Kengan Ashura Season 2 Expected Plot
The Kengan Association, a company that runs an underground fighting arena, is the focus of the anime. This arena is unique in that all fighters represent a firm, and the outcomes of these battles are bet on for high-stakes commercial negotiations.
Furthermore, the anime concentrates on the Kengan Annihilation Tournament, which will determine the association’s future chairman.
Ohma, the protagonist, is a member of the Nagi organization and competes in these deadly tournaments against the best fighters worldwide. In addition, the first season ended with Ohma and Raian’s war, which occurred around the halfway point.

Kengan Ashura Season 2 Release Date
Netflix revealed at Japan Anime 2022 that Kengan Ashura will return after a two-year sabbatical and will be available to stream straight on Netflix when it debuts.
The story of Tokita Ohma’s rise through the ranks of the underground battle tournament mayhem known as ‘Battleground’ will be continued in the upcoming season.
