Since it was released on Hulu, it became the most-watched series ever in the US and viewers couldn’t get enough of the family drama. Each episode released intrigued the fans. That is why when the first season ended, a lot of the watchers were left hanging.

Screenwriter Liz Tigelaar when interviewed had expressed her interest in continuing the story and mentioned how the series showed her creative side in life. However, she also mentioned that it would be a different story of bringing Mia and Elena together because of their tumultuous relationship.

Moreover, the author of the book Celeste Ng also expressed how she feels regarding Little Fires Everywhere Season 2.

What will we be expecting in little fires everywhere?

In the original story of Celeste Ng’s book, Mia and Pearl leave, Elena spends the rest of her life searching for Izzy who runs away after setting fires. Further, the McCulloughs spend thousands of dollars looking for their adopted daughter after she is kidnapped.

Although the past season had already covered the book’s story in its eight episodes, the last episode still ended openly which arguably, there will still be room for new plot twists.

Fans can only speculate what will Season 7 show based on the last episode that aired. The ending in the series was tweaked a little and was given more drama where Elena told Izzy that she never wanted her, which prompted Izzy to leave.

Because of these changes in the past episodes, fans aren’t even sure what the writers may do to create a perfect continuation of the next season.

Whatever it may be, surely, fans will still enjoy the next possible twists and turns if Little Fires Everywhere airs with another Season.

Expected Casts To Join Little Fires Everywhere Season 2

There is a possibility that the casts of the first season may come back and play their old roles if not all. Some of them include the famous Reese Witherspoon as Elena Richardson, Kerry Washington as Mia Warren, and Joshua Jackson as Bill Richardson. 

Another significant cast who is most likely to be part of the show would include Rosemarie Dewitt playing Linda McCullough, together with Jade Pettyjohn as Lexie Richardson, Lexi Underwood as Pearl Warren, and Megan Stott as Izzy Richardson. Speculations also say that Gavin Lewis will be back as Moody Richardson, and Jordan Elsass as Trip Richardson.

However, it does not stop there. Since the story is a continuation, new characters and casts may join the show bringing back more drama and a twist to the story.

There is currently no official release date for little fires everywhere season 2, but there are rumours of a premiere sometime during fall 2016. The scriptwriter, Liz Tigelaar, has expressed interest in extending the series, saying “I would love to do a second one to find out what happens next!” Although she was hesitant at first to bring Mia and Elena together again, Ms Tigelaar enjoyed working with such amazing talent that she admits if they were to do something else it would be more like a spinoff.
