‘Making the Cut, a unique contest series on Amazon Prime Video highlights up-and-coming fashion designers from everywhere the globe competing to form their underdeveloped organizations into a world-renowned brand.
This show was produced by Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn, both known for their past work in Project Runway. The show so far had 2 seasons and was well-received by fans globally. The second season of this unique competition finished last August 2021, and fans now are asking when will the third season be aired.
About Making the Cut
Season 1 of the series debuted in 2020 and follows 12 creators competing against each other for a $1 million prize. This prize money will hopefully boost their business. Also, the show could help boost its popularity in the cutthroat fashion industry.

Making the Cut Season 3 Release Date
The second season of Making the Cut premiered in Amazon Prime last July 2021 and ended its run in August 2021. The latest season had a total of eight-episodes wherein each episode lasts from 47 to 56 minutes each. The third season is expected to launch around the same time the first two seasons premiered which is around August to September of 2022. There is still no official announcement on when the scheduled showing of the third season of the show would be.
Making the Cut Season 3 Cast
Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn, co-makers of the series and icons in the fashion industry, present the design-centered program. They are widely known for their involvement in the popular fashion program from the past, ‘Project Runway’. The duo has enjoyed the success they had in Making the Cut that they decided to do two seasons of it. The past judges for Season 2 and expected to return on the third installment are model Winnie Harlow and Moschino Creative Director Jeremy Scott. In the past season, we saw some celebrity guest designers as well who participated in the program like Prabal Gurung and stylist Shinoa Turini. The new season will have a new set of undiscovered fashion designers. They will compete to win their customers. There must be around 10 to 12 designers that will compete similar to the first two seasons.
