Nope is an upcoming American science fiction horror film, and it’s finally coming out in the theaters this 2022! Horror film fans, are you ready to take another one?

Nope is the latest film created by Get Out and Us director Jordan Peele. The movie is fully expected to be another wholly original idea that provides a new perspective on current social issues.

In terms of sheer horror vibes, the film gives off enormous “nope” energy just by looking at the official poster.

When is the Official Release Date of the Movie Nope? 

Peele announced earlier through Twitter, by posting the title and official poster, that the film will be released on July 22, 2022. 

From then, he was always tight-lipped on when and what will happen in this new horror movie.  

But at least, we now know when it will be in the theaters.

What is the Plot of the film Nope? 

Ever since the movie’s announcement was made, the details of the Plot have been under the wraps. 

When the project was revealed in February 2021, the only known information was that Daniel Kaluuya, would reunite with Peele and that Keke Palmer had been cast in a vital role.

Since then, new information has been released little by little. Peele also unveiled the first official poster for the film, which depicts an ominous cloud hanging over what appears to be a carnival, with a kite streamer trailing underneath.

Now, since they have released the first official trailer, we already have an idea of the storyline.

If you look at the official trailer, Kaluuya and Palmer’s characters run a horse training ranch for Hollywood productions.

Steven Yeun looks to be a ringleader of a rodeo. In the very brief few shots in the teaser trailer, it appears that the force of evil is coming from the sky, with images of characters with their eyes and heads turned slightly upwards, looking terrified.

The film’s poster shows a large black cloud ominously placed over a city that seemed to be sucking up souls. “What’s a bad miracle? They got a word for that?” asks Kaluuya.

 Could it be aliens? 

Aside from these, fans are only speculating on Reddit or other discussion platforms about the Plot of Nope. What do you think?

Lucky us because Nope has a star-studded cast!

To begin with, the three main stars of the movie are Daniel Kaluuya, Keke Palmer, and Steven Yeun.

Kaluuya was known for his role in “Get Out,” His performance earned an Oscar nomination for Best Actor. Since then, he’s been appearing in notable films left and right, such as Black Panther and Judas and the Black Messiah.

Yuen, who became largely recognizable after his role in The Walking Dead, joins the movie together with Palmer. The latter had her breakout role in Akeelah and the Beeh, but maybe more known by the audience from the movie Hustlers, where she worked alongside Jennifer Lopez. 

Other actors to join the movie are Michael Wincott, Brandon Perea, and Barbie Ferreira.
