The script was written by Michael Kogge is based on Star Wars: Darth Vader, a spin-off film to be written by Hossein Amini and directed by Stephen Daldry that was intended to walk fans through the further adventures of Anakin Skywalker before his downfall but instead was abandoned in favor of a limited series, after Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018) failed commercially. There’s some speculation that this upcoming TV series will explore stories involving Yoda and Emperor Palpatine, but nothing concrete has been confirmed yet. The plot will start with Obi Wan Kenobi having a vision of Darth Vader killing young Jedi kids during a training mission. Kenobi later meets a young boy named Luke Skywalker and his family. Kenobi trains Luke Skywalker and tells him about the force. Kenobi trains Luke and tells him about the force. Kenobi will train Luke for years for the Jedi order and later, Kenobi will face the Sith Lord, Darth Vader.
