This anime series is one of a kind since it involves virtual gaming. The plot takes place in 2138 when internet gaming has taken over the world.

In a single season, the Overlord franchise covered two series volumes. In three seasons, nine volumes have been covered, with just five volumes remaining in the series’ total of fourteen volumes.
Season 4 will therefore cover volumes 10, 11, and 12. Volume 10 of the series is titled ” The Ruler Of Conspiracy.”
The fourth season will officially be a direct continuation of the third.

Sumire Uesaka returns to voice Shalltear Bloodfallen, a harsh, icy, and a nasty little demon who is also extremely lovely.
In Season 4, Kenta Myake will reprise his role as the Guardian Cocytus.
Emiri Kat and Yumi Uchiyama will reprise their roles as the gender-bending sixth-floor Guardians Aura and Mare.
Demiurge, the blade-tailed seventh-floor Guardian, and leader of NPC defenses, are believed to be voiced by Masayuki Katou for the second time.
Moreover, Ainz Ooal Gown, Demigure, the protagonist, and the Great Tomb could all play significant roles in this season.
Overlord Season 4: Release Date
A fourth season and an anime feature were announced on May 8, 2021, with the film covering the series’ Holy Kingdom Arc.
The new episodes will be directed by Naoyuki Itou (“Your Voice -KIMIKOE-“) at Studio Madhouse, the same as the previous seasons. Satoshi Tasaki adapts the original character design of so-bin for the animation, while Yukie Sugawara rewrites the storyline.
Overlord Season 4 will premiere in Japan in 2022, with no details on when month it will premiere or when it will be available in other countries, according to the show’s makers.
Seasons 1 and 3 previously premiered in July, with Season 2 broadcasting from January to April 2018, just three months before the third season began.
