Philadelphia Late-night shooting Killed 3 Wounded 12: A dark day for Philadelphia – 3 people were killed, and at least 11 others were injured by gunfire from multiple shooters in a popular downtown Philadelphia entertainment district late Saturday night.

Police officers patrolled around the area when they heard multiple gunshots and witnessed the suspects firing before midnight. According to the police report, the latest gun violence erupted on South Street, where concerts, shows, restaurants, and shops are packed, especially during the weekend.

Three people were killed at least 11 were injured by gunfire from multiple shooters during the shooting incident in Philadelphia.

The shooting happened in a famous downtown Philly entertainment district late Saturday night. According to Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw, they believed that one of the people killed was the 34-year-old Gregory Jackson.

Gregory Jackson was “involved in a physical altercation with another male that was, potentially, the genesis of the shooting. These individuals eventually began firing at one another, with both being struck, one fatally.”

This brawl between at least two men turned the streets of Philadelphia street into a terror. The two other persons who were killed were identified as well. One was 27 years old Alexis Quinn, and the third one was not identified but a 22-year-old male.

Further, during the incident, the shooting officer, who was responding to the sound of gunfire, witnessed at least one gunman fired into a crown near the South Streets.

As said by Outlaw, “Yesterday was a dark day for Philadelphia.” A witness also mentioned in an interview, “I live in constant fear. This morning, I woke up to a phone call from my sister asking if I’m safe and inside the house … That’s my world right now.”

Another one happened in a multiple weekend shooting rattle in Arizona, where a 14-year-old girl was killed and eight people injured. 

All these mass shootings happened in months, and a lot are already scared for their lives. It has been a sickness that the U.S. needs to address and give remedy. 

A lot of people have been expressing their sentiments on the current system the Country has, and how the government should remedy it. Outrage and anger fill these sentiments, however, a few also see that banning the use of gun is not the solution.
