Pirates Of The Caribbean 6: Prepare your sea legs because Pirates Of The Caribbean 6 of the swashbuckling family film franchise, Pirates of the Caribbean, has been spotted on the horizon.

The films, based on the Disneyland attraction of the same name, have made quite a stir in the film industry over the last 18 years.

Fans worldwide have fallen in love with the chaotic and humorous salty-dog characters who have stolen both our hearts and each other’s fortunes since the premiere of the first film, Pirates Of The Caribbean: Curse Of The Black Pearl, in 2003.

With changes simmering and reports circulating on the internet, it might be tough to navigate the sea of misinformation while looking for a speck of truth about the production.

We ventured to uncharted waters to create this map, which will assist you in learning everything you need to know about the yet-to-be-named Pirates Of The Caribbean 6. Grab your compass and follow our simple instructions.

What to anticipate in the upcoming installment?

Pirates Of The Caribbean 6

If the speculations about Margot Robbie and Kaya Scadelario playing the key roles in the upcoming film are accurate, we should expect a lot of female badassery.

They are well-known for borrowing ideas from actual pirate tales and legends, such as Blackbeard and the fabled Fountain of Youth.

With two female leads in this Pirates Of The Caribbean 6 film, the writers are likely to include a reference to the story of the legendary female pirate pair, Anne Bonny and Mary Read.

In the early 1700s, they were known as two of the most vicious female pirates to ever live, spearheading bold raids on commercial sloops and fishing ships throughout the Caribbean. It would be interesting to see a nod to these women’s stories if Pirates Of The Caribbean 6 had a couple of strong female buccaneers.

It’s also likely that Redd, the original amusement park ride’s redheaded female pirate figure, will appear in Pirates Of The Caribbean 6 ensemble. Though her persona has already been appropriated by Scarlet, a prostitute in the pirate haven of Tortuga, the future film may continue to adopt more of her original story as the ride’s auctioneer gunner.

In the most current film in the franchise, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, he breaks all curses at sea and frees Will from his seabound prison.

During the last battle with Captain Salazar, the cunning Captain Barbossa sacrifices himself to save Henry and his daughter Carina.

Following this conclusion, there is a sequence in which Elizabeth and Will are resting in their beds. Will assumes he is having a nightmare when he notices Captain Davy Jones across the room.

The scenario hints that the cold-hearted, tentacle-y evil is still alive, despite being thought to be dead. The disgraced skipper of the Flying Dutchman could make an appearance in this Pirates Of The Caribbean 6 film.

The Cast

While no cast members have been announced, Kaya Scoldelario, who appeared in the fifth film, Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, has stated that she is contractually committed to a sixth episode of the film series.

Kaya Scoldelario’s character, Carina Barbossa, was introduced in the fifth film, revealing that she was Captain Barbossa’s long-lost daughter. Introducing a fresh, younger Barbossa to the cast could signify where Pirates Of The Caribbean 6 film is heading.

With Scoldelario’s character returning, it’s safe to assume that her beau, Henry Turner, will. Henry Turner, played by Brenton Thwaites, is Will and Elizabeth Turner’s son.

When his father is named captain of the famed ship The Flying Dutchman in the third film, he first appears. In the fifth film, the story concludes when Henry ultimately frees his father from the cursed ship.

Margot Robbie is rumored to star in the upcoming film, but this has yet to be verified. When asked if she might feature in the upcoming Pirates of the Caribbean film, she replied, “Maybe… Time will tell.”

Orlando Bloom and Kiera Knightly, who starred in the original film as destined lovers Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann, may reprise their roles.

Some believe that their role in the plot is done, but a hint at the end of the fifth film suggests that they may return.

Even though the lovestruck couple saw substantially less screen time as the movie continued and switched to a more direct focus on Jack Sparrow, the famed pirate king and trickster noted for his odd inebriated motions seemingly unintentional gifts.

Pirates Of The Caribbean 6 Release Date

Unfortunately, there is no official release date as of yet. However, the franchise’s films have always been released in May or July. While we can speculate on the month, the Pirates Of The Caribbean 6 film will be released.

The year is entirely another story. With a four-year gap between the third and fourth films and a six-year gap between the fourth and fifth films, we may have to wait even longer if the sixth film follows suit.
