Who is Adar Poonawalla?

Poonawalla Reaches Out To Elon Musk

Adar Poonawalla serves as the CEO of the Serum Institute of India. His father, Cyrus Poonawalla, founded it in 1966, and it produces more vaccine doses than any other company on the planet.

Recently, Poonawalla reaches out to Elon Musk on twitter.

In 2011, Adar took over as CEO from his father, giving him complete control over the company’s day-to-day operations. Adar’s focus in this role has been on lowering vaccine prices to make them affordable for developing communities, while also leading SII to innovate and develop new vaccines against preventable diseases to protect lives around the world.

Adar has since expanded SII to provide life-saving vaccines to over 170 countries. This is part of his mission to combat health disparities by making vaccines more accessible to everyone.

Consequently, CEO Poonawalla reaches out to Elon Musk.

How Elon Musk replied to Adar Poonawalla?

Musk wants import taxes to be eliminated completely, and the government wants Tesla to build its first factory in India. For the time being, it appears that Tesla will not be expanding into India.

That’s why Poonawalla reaches out to Elon Musk.

Since his $44 billion acquisition of Twitter in April, Elon Musk’s tweets have gotten more than their fair share of attention. He described the Taj Mahal as a “world wonder” when he visited it in 2007.

Paytm founder and CEO Vijay Shekhar Sharma quickly invited him to deliver the first Tesla car at the Taj, saying that building Full Self-Driving (FSD) vehicles for India would be an incredible challenge for the company. “We have a reputation for being the most obnoxious road users.” That said, when are you coming to The Taj to deliver the first @Tesla?”

Furthermore, many Twitterati have been open in suggesting businesses that the world’s richest man should pursue next. Adar Poonawalla, CEO of Serum Institute, invited Musk to invest in India in a tweet on Sunday. “Good day, @elonmusk.

If you don’t end up buying @Twitter, consider investing some of your money in India to produce high-quality, large-scale @Tesla cars. This will, without a doubt, be the best investment you’ve ever made. Poonawalla took to social media.

Hence, Poonawalla reaches out to Elon Musk.

This is not Musk’s first or last invitation to invest in India. Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, recently stated that billionaires are welcome to build e-vehicles in India. However, he warned that if the Tesla owner wants to build in China and sell in India, it might not be a “good proposition.”

During the Twitter acquisition, Tesla CEO Elon Musk received an investment request from Adar Poonawalla of Serum Institute of India. Adar took to Twitter to propose to Musk that if the Twitter deal falls through, Musk should plan to invest a portion of the money in establishing a Tesla car manufacturing plant in India.

Thus, Poonawalla reaches out to Elon Musk.

Musk is currently in the news for a $44 billion deal with Twitter, which is still in the works because it requires approval from all stakeholders on the microblogging platform.

Elon Musk attempted to open a Tesla manufacturing plant in India last year, and the government decided to assign him a location in Karnataka because the majority of the country’s aerospace and electric vehicle plants are already in the south.

Several Indian state governments have also invited Elon Musk to invest in their respective states, including Tamil Nadu, Punjab, West Bengal, Telangana, and Maharashtra. Nitin Gadkari stated that India is ready to accept Tesla Motors and that the country possesses all of the suppliers and skills required to establish a factory.

Accordingly, Poonawalla reaches out to Elon Musk.
