Raising Dion Season 2 will soon land on Netflix globally this February of 2022 and we’re excited about the upcoming episodes!
Just a recap in case you missed it. It is a Netflix Original superhero-drama series that is based on the comic book series authored by Dennis Liu. Way back in 2015, the series was originally adapted into a short film which eventually gained a lot of online popularity! (Why wouldn’t it?)
This has led Netflix to create a series of Raising Dion themselves and obviously, it turned out successful. Keep on reading to know more.
When is the official Release Date of Rasing Dion Season 2?
More than two years after the first part, Raising Dion on its second season is set to debut on Netflix on February 1, 2022.
Netflix wouldn’t want to keep you waiting as well and that’s why they will be releasing all eight episodes by then. What a great way to start the month indeed.
When was it renewed?
Because of the huge support and good feedback from the viewers, Netflix announced right away on January 2, 2020, that Season 2 of Raising Dion will be returning for its second installment.

What to Expect: Raising Dion Season 2
If you have watched the first season of the series, then you surely knew how the ending was a cliffhanger, not letting us know who will be Dion’s (main character) enemy for the next season.
Also, since Dion is a young man, he still has a lot to learn about his powers and the story might focus on that while he faces different challenges, problems, and enemies along the way. Who knows, the series might run not only for another part but more installments to come along and show how the main character can grow as an actor.
Plot
The official synopsis of Raising Dion Season 2 reads, “Season 2 follows Dion as he continues honing his powers with the support of his mom and Tevin, his Biona trainer who catches Nicole’s eye. After befriending new student Brayden —a fellow powered kid—a series of alarming events unfold, and Dion learns that danger is still looming. Navigating twists, turns, and surprise visitors, Dion and Nicole must prevail again—not just to save themselves, but the entire city of Atlanta.”
Casts
Raising Dion Season 2 is actually having new faces as part of the show. Yet, it was reported that the returning cast would be joined by Rome Flynn playing as Tevin Wakefield, Aubriana Davis as Janelle Carr, Tracey Bonner as Janelle’s mother, and lastly, Josh Ventura as Simone.
The upcoming installment casts will also include Michael Anthony as Gary Stafford, and Scott Daniel Johnson (new character unlocked) that would be playing as Joe
