But it will be back on Adult Swim in November, so creators Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon were pleased to share a clip from one of the forthcoming episodes with one of the show’s new guest stars during this week’s Comic-Con panel. In the fourth season premiere, Jerry and Morty are battling an alien named Glootie (voiced by Taika Waititi), who claims to have assisted them in developing a popular app. In the video, Jerry and Morty have come to the conclusion that it needs to come down, but Glootie isn’t really helpful. Clootie refuses to cooperate when it comes to shutting the program down. Morty becomes enraged, grabs him by his tacky tracksuit, and urges him to do as he’s told. Suddenly, from his pocket, there’s a blinking red light and a beeping sound, and Jerry and Morty have no option but to hide. Of course, it isn’t what they believe it to be, but we’ll allow you to view the video to learn more.

This is a little deceptive, but it does indicate that something good is coming back. It’s surprising that our first look doesn’t include Rick, but a Jerry episode always brings some great hilarity, mostly because his life is always a complete fucking mess. We’re relieved to see that anything has stayed the same. Furthermore, it provides Funko with the opportunity to release POP! While supplies last, FYE and GameStop will be releasing 8″ Muppet Vinyl Figures of Jerry and Glootie in their tracksuits.

In the future, there will be an entire episode from the fourth season of screening at Adult Swim fest, so we’ll have a better idea about what to anticipate from new episodes soon. Otherwise, Adult Swim will return in November, but the exact premiere date has not been announced yet.
