Succession is one of the few television shows that have the power to unite the world. It’s a satirical black comedy about billionaire Roy and his dysfunctional children, who spend their days stabbing each other in the back in order to be named the new CEO of their global media empire. It was “full beast mode” in the third season, with Kendall’s attempt to overthrow his father being broadcast live. Sadly, Kendall’s death was also broadcast on television. A dramatic climax left viewers desperate for answers by the time the season three finale aired in December of 2021, blowing the lid off the show. When will the fourth season of Succession premiere?
Fortunately, Season 4 of Succession has been confirmed just days before the start of the new season. Unfortunately, no release date has been set, and production may not have begun yet. This means that it won’t arrive until at least the second half of 2022.
Seasons one and two aired in the summers of 2018 and 2019, respectively, on HBO, but the pandemic halted production on season three. The result was that it went live in October of that year. Each and every one of the main characters has been let down by their most important another half. Tom, her battered husband, has finally retaliated against her and abandoned her in the water with Shiv. Gerri, the one person in Roman’s life in whom he appeared to have confided, has now turned her back on him. Kendall is clinging to life by the thread of his mental well-being. The siblings will have to come up with a new strategy before it’s too late in season four.

Who’s returning to the Succession cast for season 4?
You can expect all of the major players to return because the family is now at war. It appears that Team Logan is now made up of the big man himself (Brian Cox), allies Tom Wambsgans (Matthew Macfadyen) and Cousin Greg (Nicholas Braun), along with Gerri (J Smith Cameron), Frank (Peter Friedman), and Karl (Peter Friedman) from his long-standing business relationships (David Rasche).
Another surprise is the appearance of Caroline (Harriet Walter), his ex-wife, who sold out their children in the third-season finale. Jeremy Strong, Shiv (Sarah Snook), and Roman are the new members of Kendall’s team (Kieran Culkin). Connor (Alan Ruck), the eldest son, has yet to declare his allegiance, but it’s safe to assume he’ll be accompanied by his new fiancée Willa (Justine Lupe). Alexander Skarsgard, who plays Matsson, the tech entrepreneur whose buyout successfully torpedoed the Roy family unit, is one person who’s likely to become a significant member of the cast in season four.
