The cast of Ted Lasso Season 3

Season three’s cast has not yet been officially announced by the show’s producers, but you can expect to see many of your favourite actors and characters return. It’s safe to say that Jason Sudeikis, who played Ted on Saturday Night Live, will reprise his role as the show’s narrator. On The Late Late Show with James Cordon, Hannah Waddingham, who plays team owner Rebecca Welton, hinted that she, too, would be returning. Additionally, Brendan Hunt (who plays Coach Beard), Ted Lasso co-creator, writer and actor, will probably return to the show to assist the team against their new rival Coach Nate (Nick Mohammed). Keeley Jones from Juno Temple, Roy Kent from Brett Goldstein, Leslie Higgins from Jeremy Swift and Cristo Fernandez’s Dani Rojas, Jamie Tartt from Phil Dunster, Colin from Billy Harris, Isaac from Kola Bokinni, Sam Obisanya from Toheeb Jimoh and Dr Sharon Fieldstone from Sarah Niles should all return.

Release Date of Ted Lasso Season 3

There is very little official information about the release of Ted Lasso Season 3, but a few hints can help us piece together a timeline. However, there is no reason to believe that this third season will be any different from previous seasons that have been released in the summer. Hannah Waddingham also mentioned that production will begin on Valentine’s Day 2022, which she described as “rather lovely” during her appearance on The Late Show with James Cordon. Pre-production, according to The Hollywood Reporter, was moved from August to September while producers and writers negotiated contracts. This could cause some delays. The writers’ room began working on season three on September 13th, 2021, according to reports. Recently, Sudeikis’ upcoming work schedule has been mentioned as a possible roadblock to more Ted Lasso.

Fortunately, fans of Ted Lasso will have something to look forward to while they wait for the return of the show, as Apple has released a Ted Lasso stop-motion short. For this new short, Ted Lasso’s central characters are on a search for Ted’s precious moustache, which has gone missing from Season 2 episode “Carol of the Bells.”

Ted Lasso Season 3

The AFC Richmond gang is likely to return to the Premier League in season three, and the feud between Nate and Ted will reach a climax following Ted’s departure. Keeley, Roy, and Jamie’s emotional issues were laid bare in the season 2 finale, so the show’s third season is likely to bring us some juicy personal drama along with the show’s signature warm-hearted comedy.

Ted Lasso’s storyline and future are both up in the air right now, but it’s possible that this will be the series’ final season. Ted Lasso was originally thought to be a three-season storey, according to actor Jason Sudeikis. That three-season arc is one that he sees, knows and understands, he said to EW. And co-star and co-creator Brendan Hunt has echoed this sentiment, saying,

I hope that even if it does end next season, the ending will be planned and satisfying for the show’s loyal fans.
