When Will It Air and Who’s In It?
In Hollywood, everything old is being revived for the third time. ‘The Equalizer,’ CBS’s reboot of the film franchise for television, is another example. For instance, Sony is banking on ‘The Dark Tower’ to build momentum after its trailer was released last month. The program’s first season arrived this spring, just after the Super Bowl. The series’ 10-episode run was a hit with audiences, and as a result, CBS handed out a renewal rather quickly. Fans of the program will be pleased to learn that ‘The Equalizer’ season 2 is set to premiere later this year.
The When and Where to Watch The Equalizer Season 2

What is The Equalizer?
Although most people are familiar with the ‘The Equalizer’ franchise, which features Denzel Washington as a super-sleuth, that isn’t how it started. It was a show that aired in the 1980s with Edward Woodward as Robert McCall in the lead. Queen Latifah will take on the role of Robyn McCall this time, with CBS choosing to do a gender-swapped remake in order for the show to continue.
‘The Equalizer’ follows the titular character, an ex-CIA black-ops specialist who is trying to save his neighbor’s girl from a dangerously obsessed fan.
The Equalizer Season 2The Showrunners, Crew, and More
Andrew Marlowe and Terri Miller, who also serve as showrunners, created this version of the program. Executive producers include Nas, Diddy, and Queen Latifah. Shakim Compere, John Davis, John Fox, and Debra Martin Chase are among the other executive producers. The movie was produced by America’s first black billionaire, who has made a fortune in the gambling industry. He is also credited as a co-producer because his original series, ‘The Equalizer,’ ran from 1985 to 1989 on CBS.

The cast of The Equalizer Season 2
Queen Latifah plays Robyn McCall, the queen of the club. The majority of the primary cast from season 1 is anticipated to return for the second season. The cast also includes Chris Noth, Lorraine Toussaint, Tory Kittles, Adam Goldberg, Liza Lapira, and Laya DeLeon Hayes of ‘NCIS,’ among others.
The Season 2 Trailer for The Equalizer has been released.
Unfortunately, we do not have a complete trailer for the next season of ‘The Equalizer’ at this time. But a brief (and we do mean brief) teaser has made its way online, giving us the tiniest of windows into the life of Robyn McCall for the second season. There isn’t much to see from the film, since it is extremely brief. However, we still have a few months before the release date approaches quickly, so we’ll need a more substantial trailer sooner rather than later.
