How is the United States involved in the Ukraine conflict?
The claim that the US was assisting Ukraine in the assassination of Russian generals was deemed “irresponsible” by the US National Security Council.
“The United States provides battlefield intelligence to assist Ukrainians in defending their country,” NSC spokesperson Adrienne Watson said.
“We do not provide intelligence with the intent of assassinating Russian generals,” according to one source. Thus, US has helped Ukraine.
Since late March, the number of high-ranking Russian military officers who have died has astounded Western security officials. Ukraine has since confirmed that there are more.
Major General Anton Simonov, 55, was assassinated on March 19 in Kherson during an attack on a Russian command post near Kharkiv, and Lieutenant General Andrey Mordvichev was assassinated on March 19.
Major-General Oleg Mityaev, 47, led the army’s 150th motorized rifle division. He was killed during a battle in Mariupol, which was under siege. Major General Vitaly Gerasimov, 45, was assassinated on March 7 outside of Kharkiv.
Moreover, Major-General Andrey Kolesnikov, Commander of the Guards Tank Kantemirovskaya Division, was killed in action on March 11, and Major-General Andrei Sukhovetsky, 47, was killed by a sniper on March 3 during a special operation.
In addition, Chechen special forces commander General Magomed Major General Vladimir Frolov was killed in battle, Tushaev was killed in an ambush near Hostomel, Lt. General Yakov Rezantsev, commander of Russia’s 49th combined army, and was killed in a strike near Kherson.
Vehicles are thought to have broken down, run out of fuel, and become stuck in the mud as a result of poor planning and logistics in the early stages of the campaign. Commanders were pushed to the front lines to solve problems before being killed by Ukrainians.
Low morale, according to Western officials, was the reason for Russian generals being so close to the front in March.
They also stated that Russian communications and logistics could be a problem. This could result in senior Russian officers communicating through unencrypted channels, exposing themselves to Ukrainian forces.
According to the New York Times, the US and other Western intelligence services have been of great assistance to Ukraine.
The US has helped Ukraine army in eliminating their enemies and provides intelligence reports
According to the newspaper, Washington, US has helped Ukraine with information on Russia’s expected troop movements, as well as the location and more details of Russia’s mobile military headquarters, which Ukraine has used, along with its own intelligence, to conduct artillery strikes and other attacks that have killed Russian officers.
Furthermore, The White House and the Pentagon did not immediately respond to Reuters’ requests for comment on the report about US has helped Ukraine.
Joe Biden’s administration does not want to jeopardize its sources or be perceived as hostile by Russia. For this reason, it has kept the military intelligence it is providing to Ukraine secret.
Later in the conflict, the Pentagon stated that it was only sending “defensive” weapons and equipment to Ukraine the kind of help they are referring to US has helped Ukraine.
US has helped Ukraine Because it has recently delivered offensive weapons such as heavy artillery, helicopters, and attack drones!
It has also discussed teaching Ukrainian troops, including those in Germany, how to use the weapons they have purchased. Proof that US has helped Ukraine through military advancement.
And, rather than claiming in February that it only wants US has helped Ukraine to survive, Washington now claims that its long-term goal in the war is to debilitate Russia.
‘We want to see Russia weakened to the point where it can’t do the kinds of things it’s done in invading Ukraine,’ US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin said after a visit to Kyiv in late April.
The Pentagon did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the Times report.
