US House Speaker News – Husband Arrested
In the recent US House Speaker News, the car-crash incident involving House Speaker Nancy’s husband made it to the headlines.
Paul Pelosi was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, according to the Napa County Police report. The arrest happened just before midnight on Saturday night and he was booked for two counts; driving under the influence and driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.08% or higher.
Later on, Paul was granted bail at $5,000 and was immediately released on the morning of Sunday.
According to the police report, Pelosi was driving a 2021 Porsche, and while he was attempting to cross State Route-29, his vehicle was struck by a 48-year-old man driving a 2014 jeep. Luckily, no one was injured, and the other driver was not arrested.
In this recent US House Speaker News, Nancy Pelosi was asked for a statement regarding the drunk driving incident of his husband, Drew Hammill, her spokesperson said in an interview, “The Speaker will not be commenting on this private matter which occurred while she was on the East Coast.”
On the other hand, Paul Pelosi has also remained silent regarding the matter.
