What We Do In The Shadows Season 4: The mockumentary TV series “What We Do in the Shadows,” inspired by the 2014 comedy film by Clement and Taika Waititi, has consistently blown reviewers and vampire fans away since its 2019 premiere.

Here’s what we know about the release date of What We Do in the Shadows Season 4, the highly awaited fourth season of the mockumentary comedy series about a group of vampires living on modern-day Staten Island.

Since Season 3 ended with a twist-filled ending, many fans have been eager for news of the TV series What We Do In The Shadows Season 4 return. Here is a list of all the rumors, including one about a What We Do in the Shadows Season 4 streaming service.

What is What We Do In The Shadows All About?

What We Do In The Shadows Season 4

A documentary crew follows a quartet of vampire housemates – Nadja, Laszlo, Nandor, and Colin – and the now-familiar human Guillermo in modern-day Staten Island.

As the cameras follow the immortal bunch, we watch the zombie housemates constantly getting themselves into trouble, attempting to save their magical skins, and regularly dealing with other members of the occult.

The group led the vampiric council in the series’ final season, Colin’s energy vampire roots were exposed, and Nandor eventually decided to turn Guillermo into a vampire. Fans are now eager to learn what happens next for America’s funniest spooks following that dramatic ending.

The plot of What We Do In The Shadows Season 4

Although we don’t have an official description for What We Do in the Shadows season 4, we can already paint a fairly clear image of its plot based on cast and crew interviews and the shocking ending of season 3.

At the close of Season 3, we saw the gang break apart. Nandor and Guillermo planned to go around the world, while Laszlo and Nadja were going to England. Yet, we were left on a cliffhanger when Laszlo imprisoned Guillermo in his coffin and sent the two to England while he stayed on Staten Island.

Guillermo and Nadja are on their way to England, while Nandor is alone at the train station, and Laszlo and infant Colin are on Staten Island. Nadja is likely to be upset because Laszlo abandoned her in Season 4.

Guillermo will almost surely miss his master, who will certainly be irritated without his trusty friend (it appears that Guillermo’s vampiric dreams have been dashed yet again).

There’s also the question of more energy vampires. Colin was interested in uncovering his origins in Season 3. However, before he could get a conclusive response, he reached the end of his life and died. On the other hand, Colin, the newly formed baby, offers a plethora of potential mythology and entertaining antics to look forward to.

In addition to our main gang, the new chapter of the novel will reveal Guillermo’s family. In an interview with Deadline, the show’s executive producer, Paul Simms, stated that we would get a better look at Nandor’s familiar relatives and his Van Helsing vampire hunter ancestry.

The sequel of the series What We Do In The Shadows Season 4 will introduce us to new otherworldly beings in addition to these themes. Simms hinted at the New York Comic-Con that “there is an episode we will be shooting in the TV series What We Do In The Shadows Season 4 that Yana [Gorskaya] is directing. It is probably the most ambitious episode we’ve done, showing the other animals of the supernatural world.”

There were no hints as to what these enigmatic aliens were. We’ve already seen werewolves, sirens, zombies, ghosts, gargoyles, witches, and Babadooks come in What We Do in the Shadows, and we’re excited to see what new terrifying ghouls will appear next.

What We Do In The Shadows Season 4 Cast

It should come as no surprise that our central Staten Island team has returned for the season. Natasia Demetriou will reprise her role as Nadja, and Matt Berry will play her husband, Laszlo.

Harvey Guillén will resume his role as Nandor’s ex-familiar turned vampire hunting bodyguard, Guillermo, while Kayvan Novak will repeat his role as Nandor. Even Mark Proksch returns to What We Do in the Shadows Season 4 to play the freshly conceived Colin.

What We Do In The Shadows Season 4 Release Date

Season 4 will air later this year, most likely in September or October. The fourth season has already been confirmed for release in 2022, and while the first two seasons aired in March/April, the third season was delayed until September 2021 due to the pandemic. The series appears to be sticking to its original release date for the time being.

FX initially announced that the series had been renewed for a fourth season before the third season even aired in 2021. Even though Season 3 is already accessible, no new information about the following chapter’s release date has been revealed. Fortunately, a release date may be announced sooner rather than later.
