Is Perry Mason Season 2 Coming in March 2023? Let’s find out the details. Ron Fitzgerald and Rolin Jones created the American period drama series based on American author and lawyer Erle Stanley Gardner, creating the same named character.
The plot revolves around the origin story of Perry Mason, a renowned defence lawyer. It is set in 1932 when almost all of the United States was struggling to recover from the Great Depression, but Los Angeles was still prospering.
As Perry Mason is still trying to cope with the trauma from his divorce and The Great War, he gets hired for a sensational trial of a child kidnapping case, leading to significant consequences for everyone around him.
When Is Perry Mason Season 2 Releasing?
The drama series was first reported to be under development on August 15, 2016. Robert Downey Jr. served as executive producer in the series and was also set to star in the protagonist role.
Later Matthew Rhys, who produced the series, replaced him as the titular cast member. The series first premiered on June 21, 2020, on HBO.
On 22nd July 2020, it was announced that HBO has confirmed ‘Perry Mason’ as a regular series from the plan of a limited series that was previously decided and renewed for a Season 2.
Fitzgerald and Jones were announced on April 23, 2021, to have left the show, being replaced by Michael Begler and Jack Amiel. Season 2 will arrive on HBO on March 6, 2023.

Matthew Rhys-
Starring the low-rent private investigator turned lawyer Perry Mason, Welsh actor Matthew Rhys is cast in the series. Previously he starred as the main character Kevin Walker in the family drama series ‘Brothers & Sisters from 2006 to 2011.
From 2013 to 2018, he played the central role of Philip Jennings in the period spy drama series ‘The Americans.
Rhys also starred as a voice cast in the series ‘The Owl House‘, ‘Tuca & Bertie‘, ‘Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai’, etc.
Rhys will also be seen starring in the upcoming anthology drama series ‘Extrapolations’, which is set to arrive on 17th March.
Juliet Rylance-
English actress and producer Juliet Rylance play the character of Della Street. Her other television credits include ‘The Knick‘, ‘American Gothic‘, ‘And McMafia’.
