Euphoria Season 3: Update on Potential Release Date and Cast

Euphoria Season 3 is finally confirmed to return on HBO!

The famous series Euphoria ended its second season with eight episodes, and the long wait for Season 3 announcements is finally over. 

No surprise to that news! The series created by Sam Levinson has doubled, with more than 14 million viewers, its numbers regarding its first installment, and the Warner Media company itself has highlighted that the first episode of its second season was more engaged on compared to the finale of Game of Thrones.

What is the show Euphoria About? 

The hit teen drama of HBO led by Zendaya has been a resounding success and the hype it has been receiving, especially when season 2 came out, helped the creators decide and finalize the show’s renewal for a third season. 

The second season was only delayed because of the COVID-19-related production issues. But we are not expecting the same thing to happen again.

The show first premiered in 2019, and Euphoria season 2 came after a long time coming with over two years between the first season.

Its story is based on the Israeli television miniseries of the same name created by Ron Leshem and Daphna Levin. It tells the story of a group of high school students through their experiences of identity, trauma, drugs, family, friendships, and love. 

Euphoria Season 3: Release Date 

After the hit release of the series’ second season, creators have confirmed the release of Euphoria Season 3. 

Unfortunately, we have no word when Euphoria Season 3 will be released exactly. However, we know that we will see our favorite cast back on screen. 

In an official statement from the Vice President of HBO programming, she said, “Sam, Zendaya, and the entire cast and crew of Euphoria have taken season two to extraordinary heights, challenging narrative convention and form, while maintaining its heart.”

She added, “We couldn’t be more honored to work with this gifted, wildly talented team or more excited to continue our journey with them into season three.”

If we are optimistic, we might see Euphoria Season 3 airing by early 2023. Let’s keep our fingers crossed!

Euphoria Season 3: Expected Plot 

At the beginning of Euphoria Season 2, we have seen many twists and turns that resulted in controversy as its popularity skyrocketed.

We can guess that the series might pick up from where Season 2 ended. The finale of the second installment hinted at Fez’s demise and that it was his little brother that ended up dying.  

And for sure, many questions have been going around about the cliffhanger’s Season 2 left. Maddy gets her revenge by fighting Cassie during Lexi’s play, but what comes after that? What’s going to happen to Fez? 

Hopefully, we’ll get to see all the answers to these and move on to their journey in Season 3.

Of course, we expect to see the lead role Zendaya return. Another cast possibly returning are:

However, reports say that one cast member who might not return is Angus Cloud, also known as Ashtray, the younger brother of Fez. 

We have so much to look forward to, especially guest casts and new characters. It was even rumored that Zendaya’s boyfriend, Tom Holland, may appear at some point in the show.
