Is Invincible Season 2 coming this 2022?

Fans have been waiting for many shows to return on AMazon, and Invincible is one of them. When the show first premiered, many viewers enjoyed the episodes and got more audience than what was expected at first. 

Invincible Season 1 received widespread acclaim from critics and audiences following its first release. It’s been nearly a year since Invincible made its and fans have been asking for another season. Will we get Invincible Season 2? Keep reading for details. 

The Plot of Invincible

Invincible is an American adult animated superhero television series based on the Image Comics series of the same name by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley.

The show follows the story of a 17-year-old Mark Grayson and his transformation into becoming a superhero under the guidance of his father Omni-Man, the most powerful being on their planet.

In becoming a superhero, Mark struggles between his personal life and superhero duties. He is forced to prove that he can be his father’s hero.

Invincible Season 2: Expected Plot 

If you have not seen the first season of Invincible yet, go ahead and binge-watch it and not miss anything! 

The comic series story is fun but confusing one too. If you are a fan of the show, you know how the story runs free and wild.

Although we cannot say for sure the storyline of Invincible Season 2, we can assume that it might continue the story left off in Season one.

The first installment of Invincible teased potential subplots for the second season. Moreover, there are hints from the series’ official Twitter account that we can assume possible plot stories.

Invincible Season 2: Potential Release Date 

Unfortunately, even if the show is high in potential and has a lot of fans anticipating the second installment, there is no official announcement yet. 

Although we are sure that the show won’t suffer from the same production delays that hit most of the TV industry during the pandemic because the series is animated, it may still take time to create and animate every scene.

They have confirmed that Season 2 and 3 will be renewed, so if they’re making both seasons simultaneously to reduce release time between them, then we might get to see the second season by the end of the year!

Recently, Robert Kirkman live-tweeted and said, “I need to get back to work on season 2 (and 3)! I have a script due soon! Wish me luck! And thanks for reading along! I love you all!”

We can’t wait for Invincible Season 2 even more with all these in mind!
