October Faction Season 2: Damian Kindler created October Faction, an American supernatural and horror drama based on Steve Niles and Damien Worm’s comic book series. The Netflix Original series October Faction 1 premiered on January 23, 2020.
What is October Faction All About?
October Faction is based on the comic book series of the same name and follows the Allen family, who are out of the usual. Parents Fred (J.C. MacKenzie) and Deloris (Tamara Taylor) are monster hunters who live parallel lives, while twins Viv (Aurora Burghart) and Geoff (Gabriel Darku) face the horrors of puberty. Following the death of Fred’s father, the Allen family relocates to a darkly cryptic upstate New York hamlet.
As undercover Presidio members, Fred and Deloris seek to hunt monsters while dealing with the death of Fred’s father, Samuel. According to the plot, Geoff and Vivian strive to discover their origins while disguising their true identities.
The show has received a mixed bag of reviews, with the bulk being unfavorable. On IMDB, the show has a 6.2 out of 10 ratings, while Rotten Tomatoes has a 29 percent critics’ score and a 50 percent audience rating. This is a bad situation.
So, will October Faction Season 2 continue, or will they call it quits?

October Faction Season 2 Plot
We see Alice (Geoff and Viv’s birth mother) conjuring a circle and reviving the dead at the end of the first season before being raided by the Presidio.
While Fred is in detention, Edith attempts to recruit Viv while Geoff and Omari (Viv’s birth father) have a conversation. Finally, Geoff, Viv, and Alice band together to beat Edith alongside Deloris. Maggie Allen is also revealed to be the future leader of Presidio.
The showrunner, Damian Kindler, has stated that season October Faction Season 2 would focus on Dante, the man’s past machine. We don’t have much time in season 1 to discover more about his complete past.
On the other hand, Kindler believes he will play a vital role in October Faction Season 2. In the first season, Dante is a fantastic, fascinating, and mysterious figure, but he isn’t as dominant as in the upcoming October Faction Season 2.
Merle Cope, the comic’s evil guy, will also appear and play a significant role in October Faction Season 2, according to Kindler.

October Faction 2 Release Date
After only one season, the sitcom was terminated in March 2020.
Fans need not despair, though, because there is yet the potential for this series in the future. That’s why we disclosed what we know so far about the upcoming season, including the release date and other data.
Many fans of the show have been perplexed and remain concerned about the show’s renewal. To be fully honest, the following is the scenario. It was canceled, and there was no news about a possible October Faction Season 2.
The October Faction provokes a well-known reaction from viewers. Therefore it’s unclear why Netflix removed it. Even though many people watched the show, it is uncertain how many of them liked it. On Rotten Tomatoes, the show garnered a 49 percent rating, slightly higher than the 33 percent awarded by critics.

As a result, there could be another reason for the October Faction Season 2 cancellation. Netflix debuted three new shows based on IDW properties: V-Wars, The October Faction, and Locke & Key.
These three fantasy shows appear to have appealed to a similar audience, explaining why Netflix decided to save money by only giving one of them a second season. As a result, Locke and Key’s renewal for Season 2 was certainly a poor portent for the other two shows.
