Rumors about a seventh season of Riverdale, an American teen drama television series, are drawing a lot of attention. Director Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, who had previously taken over “Archie” for The CW, was instrumental in making it happen.

The shooting took place in Vancouver, British Columbia. With KJ Apa portraying Archie Andrews, Camila Mendes portraying Veronica Lodge, and Cole Sprouse portraying Jughead Jones, the show premiered on January 26, 2017.

When the show’s sixth season began, it abruptly veered into the horror genre. This season’s episode was set in ‘Riverdale,’ a town filled with oddities. The house where Jughead and Tabitha used to live has become infested with bugs. Residents of that town are being terrorized by Cheryl and her henchmen, who have hung several creepy dolls from trees in an attempt to scare them away from starting a maple syrup business.
Archie went on to win numerous contests at her own maple harvest festival, which she later organized. Later that night, he was jolted awake at Thorn Hill. In the audience, Cheryl gave a speech about the importance of sacrificing one’s own interests for the good of others. Archie, who has been tied up and is wearing an antler crown, is the next thing we see. Cheryl stabs Archie to death and then removes his heart, shocking the entire town. As a backdrop for the show’s horror elements, Rivervale’s alternate/parallel universe is further developed through new plots and twists.

Is There a Chance for a New Riverdale Season in Season 7?
Riverdale, which is currently in its sixth season, has the potential to continue for a few more seasons. The CW usually announces the renewal of a show on time, and in some cases, even before the season has begun.
Although there is currently no word on a seventh season, that probability is extremely high.
