Actress Barker posted on Instagram a video and is seen in a hospital where she has been receiving treatment after feeling unwell for quite some time. She wanted to seek professional help because she wanted to deal with an “intergenerational trauma” bottled up within her.
Although Ruby did not explain and mention the technicalities of her mental health issue, she explained that she is feeling a little better now after receiving her diagnosis and treatment from the hospital.
According to Ruby Barker, she shared this with her followers because she wanted to be honest with everybody and share how she has dealt with the struggles.
Bridgerton actress also sheds light on being more loving to one’s self. She mentioned in her video to “Stop being so hard on yourself” and that, “Sometimes you’ve just got to take a break and you’ve got to say, ‘I can’t do this right now. I need support.'”
She continued sharing with her followers and those who have seen her video that they should do themselves a favor if they are already struggling. They should take a break and not be so hard on themselves.
This was the first time Ruby Barker mental health was mentioned anything about this, and she promised to engage in a more extended conversation about mental health when she was ready.
Thankfully, she might be discharged soon, and she is hoping to continue with her life and career after she gets better. As Barker said, “I want to survive, and I will survive. I’m going to. And so are you.”
