Shane Keith Warne is known as a famous bowler in the field of cricket. He is called in the cricket world as “Warnie.” Shane was born on September 13, 1969, in Australia. He was born and raised by his parents, Keith and Bridgette Warne.

At a young age, Warne showed enormous talent. He studied at Hampton High School from Grade 7-9. After that, he transferred to Mentone Grammar, where he was offered a sports scholarship and then finished his final years of schooling there.

At the age of 26, he married Simone Callahan and had three children. His children are Jackson, Brooke, and Summer. After ten years of marriage with Simone, they divorced.

Warne’s first competition was when he represented the Cricket Club of the University of Melbourne. He made his first-class cricket debut in 1991 for Victoria versus Western Australia in Melbourne. Also, in 1992, Warne played his first test match, and he successfully obtained more than 1,000 wickets.

Shane Warne died March 4, 2022 (Friday), in Koh Samui, Thailand. According to statements, Warne was found unresponsive by his friend in his villa. He was then rushed to Thai International hospital. However, despite all the efforts of the medical staff in the said hospital, he couldn’t be revived.

It was suspected that Shane Warne died of a heart attack. Thai Police said, “No foul play was suspected at the scene based on our investigation.” Warne’s body was taken to a local hospital in Thailand for an autopsy.

His family requests privacy at the moment and will announce further information soon.

While Australia’s federal government and Victoria state Premier Daniel Andrews have offered a funeral service, in addition, Premier Daniel Andrews tweeted that in honor of Warne and his contribution to the game, he will rename the Great Southern Stand at the MCG.
