Illumination and Universal Pictures were happy to share the new Sing 2 animated musical comedy with the fans in December 2021.

Unfortunately, Illumination Entertainment has yet to confirm the Sing 3 Release Date. Moreover, they have not yet announced if they will create another film that will continue the story of Buster Moon and the theater.
Still, the fans are optimistic that Sing 3 will happen eventually because Sing 1 and Sing 2 were successful. And since Sing 1 was released in 2016, the second movie was not announced until a year after the first movie’s premiere.
This means we might only hear from Illumination Entertainment and the producers if they decided to create Sing 3 a few months later.
Sing 3 Plot: What can it be About?
The animated-musical film Sing was written and directed by Garth Jennings.
In Sing 2, the story follows Buster Moon and his friends preparing for a new show, putting together a presentation for entertainment mogul Jimmy Crystal in Redshore City, the equivalent of Las Vegas IRL.
While doing so, they attempt to recruit rock star Clay Calloway, to perform during the event.
Now for the upcoming Sing 3, fans hope to see more songs and touching moments with the fans. But they are also excited that the producers create a new set of characters or maybe a twist to the plot.

If you have seen the first and second Sing movies, you probably already have a favorite character by now!
In Sing 1 and 2, Matthew McConaughey played Buster Moon, a koala obsessed with musical theater and determined to make it in show business.
In the first part of the movie, he holds a singing competition. He discovers talented animals in his town, including Rosita, a housewife voiced by Reese Witherspoon, Johnny, a teen gorilla voiced by Taron Egerton, and Meena, an elephant voiced by singer Tori Kelly.
