Will Superstore Season 7 happen?
Ever since the final episode of Superstore Season 6, fans have been dying to know whether there will be another season in the works.
Superstore is a sitcom created by Justin Spitzer about employees who work for a huge box store dubbed in St. Louis, Missouri.
The show is actually compared with The Office’s series due to similar contents and narratives. Have you seen the series yet?
If not, time to binge watch and take time to read to know more details.
What is Superstore All About?
Superstore is an American comedy television series created that first premiered on NBC on November 30, 2015.
The course of the series had 113 episodes since Superstore aired, which ended on March 25, 2021, with Season 6.
Season 1 aired from November 30, 2015, to February 22, 2016, while the second on August 19, 2016, to May 4, 2017. After a few months, Season 3 was also released on September 28, 2017, and aired until May 3, 2018. It did not take long enough to air the fourth season on October 4, 2018, until May 16, 2019. The fifth season was released on September 26, 2019, and ended on April 23, 2020, while the sixth season aired on October 29, 2020, and ended on March 25, 2021, respectively.
If you have noticed the pattern, the seasons were aired one year apart and even shorter than that. This is why fans have been curious why Superstore Season 7 is not yet happening. Is it going to be renewed or canceled?
When will Superstore Season 7 Air? – Renewed or Canceled
Unfortunately, there won’t be any Superstore Season 7 anymore. NBC has already hinted at the cancellation through an Instagram post.
It was captioned in the post, “Attention Cloud 9 Shoppers: We have a very special sale going on which supplies last!” Since they posted that, fans already knew that Season 6 would already be the final season of the series. There has been no indication if NBC will reconsider renewing and producing Superstore Season 7 again.
Nonetheless, you can always catch the six seasons of Superstore and binge-watch it on Netflix.

Superstore Season 7: Expected Plot
It was mentioned by the creators when asked about Season 7, that if ever it did happen, they said “One of the things we were thinking about doing in Season 7 was getting Dina and Garrett ready to be a couple, really coming to terms with the fact that they were a real romantic couple and seeing what that looks like for both of them.”
Should we expect a spin-off, at least? Unfortunately, although it was rumored to happen, it is also not coming to continue the story of Superstore.
Sadly, we won’t get to see more of Superstore happening anytime soon.
