The upcoming movie ‘The Killer’ is an American neo-noir action thriller drama film. Academy Award nominee for Best Director David Fincher has directed this movie.
He is known for directing films like ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’, ‘The Social Network’, ‘Mank’, ‘Fight Club’, ‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo‘, ‘Gone Girl’ etc.
American screenwriter Andrew Kevin Walker has written the script of the movie adapted from the same-titled graphic novel series of Alexis Nolent. It is a French comic book about the life of an assassin, known as “The Killer”, whose name is later revealed to be Christian.
When is ‘The Killer’ Releasing and Where?
David Fincher was first announced to direct the adaptation of the comic book in November of 2007 with Allesandro Camon as the scriptwriter.
In February of 2021, Fincher signed a deal with Netflix for this project with Andrew Kevin Walker taking over the role of scriptwriter and Michael Fassbender as the lead cast member.
The primary filming began in Paris in early November of 2021. It concluded on March 28, 2022.
On January 18, 2023, a preview of Netflix’s 2023 film slate was uploaded on YouTube in which the expected release date of ‘The Killer’ has been revealed. The film will arrive on Netflix on November 10, 2023.

Michael Fassbender-
Irish actor Michael Fassbender who is the recipient of a number of accolades has been cast to portray the lead character Christian aka The Killer in the upcoming movie.
He won two Academy Award nominations one of which is in the year of 2014 as Best Supporting Actor for the movie ‘12 Years a Slave and the other in the year of 2016 as Best Actor for the movie ‘Steve Jobs’.
For the 2011 British psychological erotic drama film ‘Shame‘, Fassbender was nominated for British Academy Film Awards as Best Actor in a Leading Role. He also won two other British Academy Film nominations for the films ’12 Years a Slave’ and ‘Steve Jobs’.
