Chucky is a new film in the Child’s Play franchise, and it will premiere on Netflix. There are a few things to note about the release date before we get started. Chucky Season 1 is expected as released on 10, July 2022.

Naturally, it comes right in time for Halloween. It’s dark enough to remind you how frightening dolls are when the show premieres on that date at 10 p.m. when it’ll be dark enough to make you shiver. The series follows the lives of several people who are stranded in space after an unexpected disaster destroys their Earth-bound homes.

Toymaker Goose is back for another round of terror in the small town, and he’s brought his famous homicidal Good Guy doll with him. When the lights go down, it’s always good to get comfortable.

The plastic maniac will face teenagers this time around, having been purchased at a yard sale by unfortunate 14-year old Jake Webber. Jake, a 16-year-old gay boy already suffering at the hands of his peers and recently losing his mother, finds himself in danger after accepting a strange doll. Expect more of the same from the cult-classic hero, with a sprinkling of adolescent drama and anguish.

The TV series, which will premiere next month on HBO, has two main plotlines that all intertwine. Here’s the show’s official description –

Chucky Season 1 Cast

Brad Dourif reprises his role as Chucky, a.k.a. Charles Lee Ray, who is trapped in a doll and is now known as the Cult of Chucky. The young artist who purchases the doll from a yard sale is represented by Zackary Arthur, the man who discovers it. We can anticipate seeing many recurring characters, both friends and foes, as Arthur is a relative newcomer to the franchise. Nica Pierce and Tiffany Valentine, played by Fiona Dourif and Jennifer Tilly, respectively, are the lead characters in this supernatural thriller based on a true story.

'Chucky' Season 1:

Guest star Andy Barclay, who starred in the original film as well as its sequel, will return alongside his foster sister Kyle ( Christine Elise McCarthy ). The evil dragon lady will be joined by Tio Briones, Alyvia Alyn Lind, Bjorgvin Arnarson, Devon Sawa, Lexa Doig, and Barbara Alyn Woods in the cast.

This sequel is based on the original series’ first novel, “Chained Heat,” written by Brian Brandstatter. Don Mancini serves as writer, director, and executive producer for this continuation. Even while exploring new characters and stories, he promises that the program will return to its origins. Davey Holmes, Mancini’s co-executive producer, is also a franchise producer for The Amazing Race. David Kirschner, Harley Peyton, and Nick Antosca are among the writers involved. The first season of the Netflix adaptation will be written and directed by Mancini.
