Date A Live Season 4 Plot

Date A Live Season 4 Plot:

The series takes place in the not-too-distant future. Thirty years before the show’s events, a catastrophic explosion decimates East Asia, killing around 150 million people. Scientists are perplexed by this explosion, dubbed a “spacequake.” Spacequakes are considered unexplainable natural occurrences since scientists cannot comprehend their causes.

As the years’ pass, spacequakes begin to occur more often, and the world must learn to deal with this mysterious tragedy that costs millions of people each time. The program is set in Tokyo and follows Shidou Itsuka, a high school student. Shidou lives in Tokyo with his adorable younger sister, Kotori, and attends Raizen High school while his parents are gone. Shidou’s life, however, takes an unexpected turn when a catastrophic spacequake rocks Tokyo.

When Shidou attempts to rescue his sister from the spacequake, he is trapped in the explosion and discovers a mystery female among the devastation. As it turns out, the girl is not human, but a Spirit, a very strong person from another planet whose entrance on earth causes devastation in the surrounding region, which people refer to as spacequakes.

Shidou is rescued before he can make sense of what is occurring by a fully equipped anti-Spirit unit led by his younger sister. While the squad is armed with everything required to exterminate the Spirit, Shidou’s sister informs him that there are two methods to deal with Spirits: either exterminate them or make them fall in love.

Shidou, encouraged by his sister, therefore accepts the task of attempting to make the Spirit fall in love with him by embarking on a life-threatening date. Shidou is conscripted by the anti-Spirit organization and assigned the mission of dating Spirits and keeping the earth and its human population safe as he learns the ropes of dating Spirits and making them fall in love.

Shidou unlocks an ability to “seal the Spirit’s might” as the play goes, preventing Spirits from creating spacequakes. Shidou embarks on multiple life-threatening and often humorous dates with Spirits throughout the episode to keep the earth safe.
